About Lawrence Doria Chicago
Lawrence Doria, of Chicago, Illinois, utilizes his more-than-30 years of experience in the security industry to lead corporations as well as professional organizations. As vice president of business development in the Chicago area for Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., he helps provide security personnel to both the public and the private sector. Previously, he served as founder and president of Security Management and Investigations, Inc. (SMI), which was later purchased by Securitas. Lawrence Doria co-founded the Midwest Security Conference in 1988, and has served as an executive committee member since 1993. Additionally, he co-founded the Illinois State Crime Commission and holds the title of chairman of the board of directors for the Illinois Security Chiefs Association.
In his free time, the Chicago professional pursues a variety of hobbies, including watching sports, fishing, and riding horses. He also enjoys spending time with his children and his grandchildren. An avid traveler, he has visited Italy, Mexico, and Costa Rica.
